What if the next step has been waiting patiently within you?

In this, 4th meditation of The Bridge Series, you'll be invited to gather everything you've practiced—your breath, your awareness, your imagination, and the wisdom of your heart—and gently discover your own next kind step.

Rather than searching for all the answers, you'll create space to receive the invitation already unfolding within you.

Throughout this meditation, you are also invited to receive Reiki energy, if that aligns with your beliefs and intentions. Simply set the intention to receive and remain open to whatever serves your highest and best good.

This is part of a guided series designed to help you move from where you've been toward what's calling you forward.

Breathe deeply.
Listen inward.
Take one kind next step.

Keep Picturing Love,
Kris

Kris LeDonne

Welcome to your personal invitation. This is the fourth meditation in the Bridge series presented to you with love from Picture Love Podcast. Now let's begin. If you'll find yourself a nice, steady, supported place to sit, ideally where you can lean back and where your feet are supported beneath you for your best balance. And find a comfortable place to lay your hands, and if possible, at any point, let your eyes gently close. If you're not in a place where you can relax your alertness, maybe you'd like to come back later, or maybe just follow along and appreciate the energy. Throughout this visualization, I will be offering the gift of Reiki. If you choose to receive the energy transmission, you just simply need to, in your mind, say, "I accept." And if that's not for you, no problem. This energy goes where it is wanted. Take a nice, deep, relaxing breath with me and let your shoulders fall where they belong. As you let out the air, let everything that doesn't belong drain from your body through your feet into the ground beneath you with gratitude Let each deep relaxing breath you inhale be a gift. Receive the gift of life flowing through your body, supported by your breath and your lungs. But know it's so much more than a breath of air. And with every exhale, you're just letting go more and more of any tension, of any stickiness that has resided where it doesn't serve you. In with the fresh breath and the freedom, clearing space as you exhale tension or any worries that the world continues to offer. This is your time. This is your space. This is your life. With a smile on your face or in your mind, accept that. This is yours as you continue to breathe, you may need to relax it a little bit, fall into a natural pattern, or maybe those deep intentional breaths support you more. This is your time. Breathe the way you are most fully supported. And as we go on, you'll notice your body becomes more and more relaxed. That might feel like you're getting heavier in your seat, and it may eventually feel like you're lighter and lighter and weightless Whatever it is, it's what you need in this moment, and nothing else matters In our first meditation, we really focused on the exhale, letting go. You don't have to hold everything. You don't need to struggle. Just find yourself in the stillness and let all of the movement take place in your breath and in your gratitude And as we journeyed on, we became more mindful to notice the thoughts in our mind and to soften the grip on those thoughts and to let them pass by just like a bird through the window traveling near and then far Like somebody walking by on the street. You don't have to attach. You can just notice, and they move on And as you continue to detach from involvement with those thoughts, you start to let go of the conditioning, the lists, the roles, and you just start to discover that your mind is a beautiful gift that gets to sort through things for your highest good. But it doesn't need to evaluate. It doesn't need to follow the rules. It gets to relax. You get to take off your fix-it hat. You get to take off the referee shirt. You get to lay down the scorekeeping card and just notice and thank your mind for the powerful way you get to choose your thoughts And then our journey took us to listening more deeply to our heart and what's been waiting to be noticed That heart has a voice, and when the mind cooperates and relaxes, the head and the heart coexist with so much more ease. And connecting the head and the heart and the breath is how we bring our many pieces together into wholeness and presence. And now Join me as you are invited to be in your own peace. You ride your breath. You are grounded by the Earth, held by the heavens above Relaxed as a detached observer in your mind, noticing what's going on in your body and inside yourself Free of all of the constructs of this world. Free to hear the truth in your heart This invitation allows our heart's desire to be noticed Here are some questions. I invite you to choose one and just follow the thread as we go on today, and you can find them in the notes to return to again. What's calling me forward in this moment? What wants to explore, to grow What does my heart want to give some attention to? What wants to be expressed right now? What part of you wants to be accepted? What wants to be loved? What wants to be ignited? Time is a construct. It's not a limitation. You have infinite time. You have expansive space. You have abundant resources. Knowing the infinite potential, I invite you to settle in and let your heart play and run away with one or more of those thoughts. Let's be still and on the breath invite the peace that lets you hear your heart Here in this space, it is safe to be in your body Your body is the place where you are experiencing this life This space belongs to only you It is safe to be in your body for this moment Let your breathing find a natural pattern with no restrictions Let the air circulate around you. Let the love move through your breath. And let the truth of your heart be found in this peace, as we take some quiet for the next few moments. It is safe to be here in your body, in your heart. Your peace is always right here waiting to be experienced. Your peace is everlasting. It offers you a standing invitation. Step in and be Step in and dream Step in and listen inward. No matter how loud life gets, follow your breath, notice your thoughts, loosen your grip, and invite the heart to speak. This is where you expand. This is where your truth lies. Feel the peace in your body, in your heart, in your mind. You are one. And now ask your heart for one kind next step. Not a business plan, not a speech. Not an encyclopedia. Just ask one aligned kind step and trust what comes. If you need to return to this meditation, you can always come back to it. You can even come to it once a day for a week if you like, but notice what comes up. It may be in this moment. It may as the day unfolds. It may come from your words or from even a bumper sticker. You will know when you find your truth. Your heart will tell you. Maybe it's a flutter. Maybe it's a sweaty palm. Maybe it's something far more subtle, but be open to notice what that next kind step is. And just like crossing a brook, once you've chosen your next stepping stone, your eyes will look forward to the following, and then to the next, and then to the next. And once you've crossed that stream you will have had not only forward-moving direction, but the experiences along the way. And note what comes up each time you listen, each time you choose an intention And know that all of your parts, your breath, your mind, your body, and your heart are all ways that your soul is expressing itself. It is yours. It is unique. It is not to be compared with anyone or anything. Your journey is yours and yours alone, and that's all that matters. May you find your peace easily with just a simple breath from now on. And when you're ready, you can start to move your fingers and your toes gently. If you can, keep your eyes closed as you start to come back into your body. Maybe move your shoulders a tiny bit. If you can, move your hips a little bit just to get closer to moving your spine. That gentle movement is where the breath doesn't have to stop. Keep that breath moving. And I hope that every time you pause with intention to choose your next breath and your next thought, give yourself the kindness of this space and this peace. And remember, your peace is yours alone. So be the permission slip somebody else needs today by living in your own peace, that they may be inspired to do the same. And if sharing this tool is the easiest way, please share. Until next time, keep picturing love, friends. You are so worthy. I love you.
