Kris LeDonne:

Hello friends. Welcome to Picture Love. If you've been here for any period of time, you may have noticed quite a variety of topics and conversations on this podcast. And quite honestly, I can't even begin to tell you how amusing and freeing it is to be able to talk about what's truly on my heart and know that there's somebody out there who's going to resonate. This podcast has allowed me to truly honor my imagination. It has allowed me to do some self-discovery and some healing and share it with others who may also have some notes of resonance. And I just wanna thank you. Some of the outpouring I've gotten from recent episodes have been life changing for me. I try not to work. For praise or for affirmation of others, but when I know that something resonates and made a difference, that gives somebody the permission slip they needed or the inspiration they needed to do something to get themselves in a better state, that is deeply satisfying, and that's my hope that this episode offers that to somebody else today. As I share a little story of discovery and how I tapped into the imagination, that has given me such a beautiful life journey recently. I'm actually gonna share a backstory and then offer you a chance to take a journey, a meditation journey with me in this episode. So, one thing you might not know about me, my family might think it's a little strange. They act amused every time. Oh, mommy's taking pictures of the clouds again, I'm a, I'm a sky gazer. Some people are a stargazers. Well, I love stars. I love planets. I love looking at colors at sunrise and sunset, but I'm especially preoccupied these days by formations in the clouds. I love to see what can my naked eye discover. Because you know, clouds, they, they tell stories. If you look closely, you can see fictional creatures. You can see messages. I once saw a smiley face formation in the clouds. I am not joking you. I posted it on social and even my friends didn't believe I didn't create it. It was real. It was really in the sky, and I took that as a personal little wink from the universe. It was beautiful. Maybe I'll put it on this episode. Anyway, while taking a timeout in the chair in my backyard, in the patio facing the trees where I have my bird feeder set up, I discovered a ritual. I love to look up at the clouds. I love to feel my feet in the grass and I feel grounded. And I do the same thing at the beach. I love to look up at the clouds. I love to feel the sun on my skin if it's out. And I love to feel my feet in the ocean or the sand. And I found that that's one way that I am connecting divine energy and earth energy through my vessel, my body. And while this has become a daily ritual for me. I've discovered my imagination opens up, and I think it has, I know it has everything to do with getting grounded and centered and peaceful because there is so much wisdom to be found in silence. There's so much wisdom to be found in nature, and I've been a little, I've been taking liberties, let's just say, with my imagination. To create characters and stories that resonate with my heart in hopes that it supports somebody else as well. And so without my realizing the sequence of events until I was looking back at my journaling and my note taking and my creation, I discovered three new spirit characters. And they're embodied by creatures in my backyard. There is Elira. I can't wait for you to meet next week. There is Riven and there's Sorayaa. And I decided that these are nature spirits and that they are best friends and they might not have seemed like likely best friends. If you look at them in woods. So Elira is represented to me by squirrels. They're athletic, they're no nonsense, they're hard workers. They're actually very playful, extremely clever and fascinating. When you slow down and actually watch them and don't get annoyed if they're stealing the bird food, they're just really fascinating creatures. And so a character got developed through observing the squirrels. Another character got developed through my relationship with some crows. There is a group of nine crows. I. That travels in my neighborhood and I usually get five of them in the backyard, sometimes four, sometimes all of them. I leave them peanuts, I leave them pumpkin seeds. They love me. They've left me a gorgeous chunk of sparkly pyrite. I knew it was them. Ask for details if you wanna know how I know. And they're beautiful. They. They inspire me. They're very strong, they're very loyal, they're very intelligent, and they're very underappreciated. So the Crows represent Riven. I can't wait for you to meet his character. And then Sorayaa, sweet Little dainty, can be misjudged. Soraya is strong, sneaky, strong, incredibly powerful spirit in a very small package. I use the hummingbird as my object to remind me of Soraya, twinkly, fluttery, quick and full of surprises. And I've literally started to name them. As they visit the hummingbird feeder outside my window, it's, it's really fascinating and fun. And so these little timeouts have allowed my imagination to unfold and I. And in direct response to the goings on in the world today as I'm recording this, it's July 7th, 2025. That's seven, seven and two plus five is seven, so it's like a triple seven day, and I find myself fascinated by numbers more now, more than ever. I just feel something magical going on. I try very hard to be aware of what's going on in the news, but not feeding it with my attention because I believe that there's so, for every darkness, there's a whole lot of light going on because when light hits something, shadows are formed. So I think there's always light, whether we are focusing on it or not, and not to make less of what's going on, but I know. That there are people who really would like us to be fearful. There are people who would like to to bring us down, and we get to choose how we respond to everything in life. And I choose to let my imagination uplift me and anybody else who would like little bit of a break from the drama. So that brings me to a little field trip I would like to take with you now. Will you please be my guest on my beach? I have a extra beach chair in my car right now. I have an extra Tumblr of fresh ice, cold water. It's a beautiful sunshiney day with fluffy clouds of all kinds around us, and there's just enough breeze to keep it from getting too hot, but certainly not too cold on this beautiful July day on the Atlantic Coast. So if you'll take a little time out with me, I would love to talk you through a relaxation to help you unwind, disconnect, and maybe do something beautiful and pleasing for you. Like it's done for me. This is the sound of the beach. If you'll come sit with me. I hope that this mini journey I take you on will either help you start a beautiful day, refresh in the middle of the day, or maybe help you unwind for the most restful, peaceful sleep you could ever wish for. That's my hope for you, and it always starts with a breath. So sit down in this extra beach chair. The ice water's in the cup holder for you. The breeze is perfect and the crowds are not too heavy. There's plenty of space for us to unwind right now and let our imaginations play. As you sit, kick your shoes off. Stick your toes in the water with me. We're right on the edge. Feel the sand between your toes. And the occasional wave comes and rinses it clean, and it feels so good. It's like a bath scrub, being rinsed off the perfect temperature, not too hot, not too cold. It calls for a deep relaxing breath. Inhale with me, will you? And let it out slower than you inhaled. And as you let it out, see the waves. Pull the sand off your toes and go back out with the tide and take another nice deep re nourishing breath and fill yourself up all the way down through your belly to the bottom of your spine. Fill up with air and let it out with the waves. And every time the waves come in and they rinse your feet. They're taking out of you what no longer serves, pulling it to the ocean to be transmuted because the earth loves you and cherishes you, and supports you. With every breath you breathe in, you feel a beautiful breeze on your skin, a little kiss from the sun, and an exhale as the waves pull all out that is no longer serving you. With every exhale, you're letting more go. With every inhale, you're filling up with more light and more warmth, and more joy and more ease.

As you continue to breathe, bring to mind the water itself. Water has memory. It receives energy, and as we appreciate how it's supporting us, we can ask it to send a message to those in need. A message of love. Support, healing transmuting. Let the message of love and peace and unity be delivered everywhere it's needed on this earth. Let our peace. Be what's received everywhere it can be delivered, and ask the ocean to deliver that for us.

Kris LeDonne:

Feel your sand between your toes. Notice imaginary silver cords. Going from the bottom of your feet and the bottom of your spine into the earth rooting you deep. Like the grandest tree roots, only these silver cords go all the way to the heart of the earth where they are sending up loving energy and cleansing you working along with the ocean. You are rooted in love. No matter how strong the wind blows, you can't be shaken. You are grounded, you are safe, and you are present. Take another breath. And with every exhale, it's just clearing the way. For you to relax into your normal wellness, your perfect natural state, and every inhale comes with more golden light from the sun. And then you start to feel a little tingle on the top of your head in your scalp. And that beautiful tingle is gold. It's gold from the sun above. And it's permeating your scalp, and it's filling your head with beautiful golden light, and it's going down your neck and your shoulders. It's filling up your entire body with beautiful golden light. Maybe you feel it tingling in your fingers, in your soles. You are grounded. You are held by earth and sun and the sound of the ocean. Singing to you in the background. Maybe a dolphin swims by and you see not one, not two, but a school of thumb. The dorsal fins teasing you in the distance you hear a joyful sound from the sea creatures sending extra love and energizing the water and the air around you. It's magic. It's in you. It's around you, and you are whole, and you are here. You are present on this beach with every breath. You feel a measure better, a measure freer, and you start to feel how loved and worthy you are of this love. There may be a flutter in your heart of appreciation, of gratitude. Of remembrance for all that you are and all that is being held for you. And you look up and you see these beautiful trains in the sky, puffs of clouds flowing in the wind. You hear the birds squawking flying above the seagulls chattering. And the edge of the shore. Maybe you see a triad of pelicans flying above, looking for their next meal and all as well. All as well. Continue to enjoy in peace. Your inhale and your exhale and your oneness with the earth. Being held by the universe'cause you are so loved. There is no place to go. There is nothing for you to do. There is no one for you to help. You. Just be, your presence is a gift. Being here connected to the earth, connected to the sun, connected to this universe. Your presence is the gift you are anchored. The wind continues to remind you of your presence. Sense the birds sing your songs. The clouds perform for you and the sea creatures play and gossip. They're here. They're here. They came. They're here and all is well. Take a few more breaths at your own pace. And with every inhale, that golden light that has filled your body cannot help but radiate outward. You are rooted. You are grounded. You are a lighthouse in your own right. You don't have to find the ships. The ships see your light. You don't have to seek out others. Those who need you are guided and warmed by your presence. All you have to do is breathe and remember, you are the lighthouse. Now, every time you forget who you really are, come back and listen to this again. Be reminded. Look at your hands, look at your feet. Look at the ground beneath you. If it's not the ocean, if it's not the sand, if it's not grass, imagine it's. Because your imagination can bring you back any moment of any day, any time, wherever you need, because your imagination has always been here for you, just waiting to come out and play. I am frequency. My light shines brighter. With every deep, mindful breath. My stillness opens the door to presence. I remember myself. I am rooted. I am safe. I am. Now, I invite you as you continue to breathe, to start wiggling your fingers, maybe move your toes. Maybe adjust your ankles or your shoulders, and as you come back into your body, keep the peace in your lungs. Keep the sounds in your mind. Keep that breeze on your skin and come back as many times as you need to. And I hope that your imagination. Brings you beautiful dreams, beautiful thoughts, and reminds you where you really are and who you really are. I love you. Come back. There will be more friends here for you- Elira, Riven, Soraya, and many others. And above all, you have my deepest gratitude. Thank you for picturing love- in your own heart, in your own body with me today. See you next time.
