Welcome back to picture love friends. If you are listening to this and the beginning of the year, 2025, I am here to say happy, happy new year. And if you are not listening to it at the beginning of the new year, I'm just here to say welcome and happy today. And the reason I named this episode, how to experience the best possible now. Is because I'm going to share a GIF with you that I gave myself today. I actually had woken up with my head full of inspiration. I had just wonderful dreams. Last night. Even though. I woke up a lot. My doggies. Got issues, but she'll be fine. Anyway, the inspiration was to give myself the gift of intentional grounding in the moment. Intentional grounding in the present moment on a regular basis. That's going to be my new normal. When I wake up in the morning is going to be. Grounding and my gratitude for the right here and the right now. And every time. I get up in my head and I start to get overwhelmed. If I could just remember that grounding. I think that will help me anchor into a better day and a better experience. To do what I love to help other people do and just show up in the best possible version of ourselves. So I shared this with a group of friends this morning and they were so receptive and it was such a beautiful sharing. That I, I asked them if I could record it and I did. And the recording just was. Not good. Something got digitally wonky. So I'm going to redo it for myself. And for those who choose to partake and you could call it a guided meditation, if you like, or a visualization. But what I'm going to do is share with you how I walked myself through this beautiful grounding practice. That is a new part of my every day. And I'm inviting you to use it as many times as you like, however you like. And if it means listening to the recording multiple times, then go for it. So let's get started. Right now I'd love for you to take a deep, relaxing breath and imagine you're filling up not only your lungs, but your whole torso. And just hold it at the bottom. And let it out as slowly as your body needs you to. Then take another nice, deep relaxing inhale, and this time, imagine the air not only fills your whole torso. But it goes all the way down to your toes. Where are your toes right now? Are they on the ground? If they're dangling, I invite you to let them be flat on the ground. Or if you are sitting on furniture that has a foot rest. Just let your feet have the benefit of support. Feel the support underneath your feet. Whether it's the ground or a representation of it. And just a lot, the breath come in, easy all the way down to your toes. And out. As slowly as you need it to be. Now as you continue to take your nice deep, relaxing breaths. I want you to just think about your feet, the feet that are, are that you stand on that take you places. They get overlooked. Think about how. They root into the ground and they receive trust trust from the earth beneath you. Think about how they work seamlessly with your ankles. The ankles that just don't get any attention until they're hurting. Think about how you can add. More support to them with just a little bit of gratitude and some deep, beautiful breaths. All the trust that comes from standing on the earth, the beautiful earth. Your feet, your ankles, your lower legs, your calves, relaxing the muscles. If they're tight. Your shins. Whether they're bruised like mine or not. Be grateful for them and the work that they do for us every day. Unsung heroes. Can tip that continue that deep, relaxing breath. And thank your knees for the work that they are doing. That led us. Move into different positions. That help us propel ourselves forward. That allow us to curl up and relax. They keep us pointing forward. Thank them for the direction that they give us. Feed them with that deep, delicious, fresh breath. And thank you. The rest of your legs, your thighs, your hamstrings. All the parts in between. Thank them for the way they work with your knees and your lower legs and your ankles and your feet, all the way to the ground full of trust and studying us. And keep that breath flowing and appreciate the hips, the hips that, that get so much work and so little appreciation. Thank them for the work they do that allow us to sit to stand to move. To mobilize us in ways that we take for granted until they're difficult. Thank you, hips. Hips that hold up. Baby's hips that. Allow us to do sports and travel places. And. Do the mundane and the exciting. The hips attached to. Our root. Where we sit. Where we trust, where we rest our bones. Thank them for the work that they do to support you. The sacral area where we create. Where we process. Nutrition that comes through our body. Feed it with more beautiful breath right now. And thank that area for all it does. And if your stomach is really tight, just for let it relax, let it, let go. And enjoy the breath, filling up your belly as fat as you can fill it. And relaxing it. As the air is released. And every time you're letting the air go. Think of it as allowing tightness tension concerns, just releasing them. Let them go down to mother earth. To transmute that. You're not meant to carry that inside your body. Your body has jobs to do. And we need to take care of it. So that we can continue this experience and what we are here to accomplish. Keep those big, beautiful breaths in and out. And the most delicious, supportive way that you need. Allow those lungs to fill up fully. As the beautiful air continues to flow through your body. And you are more and more aware of the beautiful parts. That work together to support you. Think of your shoulders and think of all they carry physically and metaphorically and energetically. And thank your shoulders for the work that they do. To allow movement and strength. For yourself. And for those you serve, thank your shoulders for what they do. Thank the arms that they support to thank the arms for the movement that they carry. For the arms that hold others up. For the arms that hug. For the arms that carry for the arms that work. For the arms that support. The elbows they get so beaten up and so under appreciated, thank them for the movement that they allow your body. Thank you for arms, the strength in those muscles. The things that they do that. Help us make beautiful music. Make beautiful experiences happen. Hold things, create things, support and nurture things. Clean things. And the wrists. That are so complex and so beautifully created. That support our hands in all that they can do. The fingers that we take for granted until they start to hurt. Thank each and every single one of them for what they do for us. Thank through the hands and the arms that work together that hold ourselves when we need warmth. That hold loved ones when we need to be held and need to hold them. Thanks the arms for what they energetically do when you cannot hold that person you love. But somehow we can still send. That loving. Hug. And to nourish the heart that pumps that beautiful blood throughout your body. Keep it oxygenating. Keep it working to serve you. And imagine this big, beautiful, glowing light inside your heart, that radiates and warms. What needs warming. That puts warmth of love into the air that travels through your chest. Through your vocal chords. And helps you form words, rooted in warmth and love. And keep that breath moving. As it supports you. And fills up your beautiful head with that oxygen you need. That lets you see. The world outside of you and the world within, and the worlds that you create. And the worlds that you are have yet to create. And let that breath of life keep moving. Full of love full of appreciation. Full of the light that is uniquely yours. That your soul just shines through here being. Inhale. That beautiful life breath. And as you exhale. Feel it actually. Moving through the crown of your head as well. Your connection to your divine life. Where the light shines. N. And throughout. Enjoy the breath as it fills up. Supports you keeps you moving and allows you to be still when you need to. And may every breath that follows this time-out ground you in the beautiful experience of right now. Let it keep you full of gratitude. As you go through your day as you go through your night. And at any time, You start feeling. Disconnected from your body, from your life, from just the chaos around. Go within. And remember with that deep breath, the gift you gave yourself today. Thank you for joining me. Keep picturing love through the breath of life. I love you. And I'll see you next time.
