Hi friends. Welcome back to picture love podcast. I'm your host Kris LeDonne. Today's episode is very special. I've been looking forward to this conversation for weeks and weeks. My guest's name is Travis. Hope. He is a psychic medium. He is nothing but love. And he's known on social media as the warrior unicorn. If you have never heard of him, you will want to follow him now. And you'll find all of the details of his bio in the show notes. But without further ado, we're going to dive right in. Let's picture love with Travis.. Travis, I have so looked forward to this conversation. Welcome to picture love. Oh, thank you for having me. I have too. It was funny when you had reached out and DM'd me on Instagram and you asked me, I was standing on a street corner. I was like by a coffee shop and I like, I hear look in my ear and I look and there was an angel number license plate with 444. I sent you the picture. Yes. And I was like, I didn't even have to like look through your profile or anything. I was like, you know what? Yes, I'm doing this. Yes. From the universe. That's, that's really, affirming. Thank you. And I love that you sent me that picture back. That was just, you made my day and it's so beautiful when total strangers can find resonance and strike up a conversation and just see what comes out of it. I think creative collaboration is one of my favorite thoughts. Yeah. Yeah. So, Travis, how do you picture love? Hmm. For me, love is, there aren't different types of love. For me, love is just love. I believe there's different depths to it. And right now in my life, I'm exploring those depths. Those depths with myself, those depths with my friendships, those depths with my family. And so that's how I'm, I'm picturing love. The full spectrum and the depth of it all. That's so beautiful. I feel it. I feel it. When you say that. Absolutely. And the word of my month seems to be, and it might last, it might be just my new word period is authenticity. And I feel that in what you're saying, because, you know, there's a lot of courage required to put down pretense and expectations and obligations to, to find out what's in those depths and look at it truthfully and honestly, with curiosity. Absolutely. So thanks for being so authentic and, and letting me go deep with you right off the bat. Absolutely. I, I, you know what I'm always, let's just dive off the deep end. We don't even have to hang out in the shallow end. We can just go deep if we need to. Exactly. We don't have to talk about the weather all the time. Although speaking of weather, I'm in New Jersey speaking to you and you were on a street corner in. Washington state. Beautiful. And home is currently. Washington state. Oh, it is. Yeah. A lot of people think I'm from California, which is really fun. So I have a, no, people just assume, and I think it's funny and I have an explanation as to why people assume this. Yeah. Please tell me why I think that you know, I'm serious. I have a, well, I have an astrological reason as to why we'll think this. So I can't wait. Are you familiar with astro cartography? Not at all. Okay. So astro cartography is, it's kind of like astrology, but based off of geography. So you know how we have the planets in our houses and all of our sun sign or moon sign, right? In our birth chart. Well, astro cartography, you use the same information that you would use to find your birth chart. So your exact place and time and day of birth. Okay. You do need all of those, all of that information. Yeah. And, and um, there's, you can find these for free on, on various websites, but it's, uh, it shows you a map of the world and where all of these different lines run. And I have a Venus line, which the Venus line is like the line of like love and connection and creativity it runs. I kid you not. Right. Over Los Angeles. Okay. Okay. And so I think that when people see me and they connect with my energy, they're like, Oh, this guy is from California. Like I always get California yeah. I grew up in Ohio and people were like, Oh, are you from California? So I think it's because of that. Like that is a, that's my solid theory I've been running on for the past two years. Oh my gosh, that is so cool and insightful. And that sounds like it's maybe an element of human design. So yeah, so human design got to be related. Does use astrology. Absolutely. It's all connected. Yeah. Which is interesting because Ohio for me, where I was born there ever since I moved away, I moved away from Ohio about seven years ago. over to, first I stopped in Phoenix and then I went to, then I went to Washington. Ohio has my Saturn line and my, your Saturn line is like your line of like karmic lessons. So there's always like heaviness when I go back home and I never knew why. But Washington, where I live, My moon line and my Pluto line both run over this area. And this is where you have your quote unquote, spiritual awakening. Like that's what that line represents. Okay. And Pluto is the messenger of the spirit world. So. I'm like, I look back on my journey of just where I kind of how, when I decided to dive in and like, I'm like, oh my gosh, it all makes sense. So anyway, that's my, my astro cartography story. So I'm, I'm a visual learner. And so while you're talking, I'm just imagining you're just following the current where you're being taken literal, energetic current. I love that. That's amazing. I, my current keeps taking me up and up and down the Eastern seaboard of the U S and, uh, be interesting to see where we land at the end of this year, you touched on it already about your mediumship. First of all, I have Instagram to thank for finding you and falling in love with, with just little nuggets of your work, little, but powerful. And I just, I love how you capture the audience with those. Warm eyes and that giant heart waving your amethyst, and you, you disarm with your introduction you share from your heart, I have to assume is a channeled message. Yes. And then you just have this close that just makes it just like seals it in. How did that come to be? How did your sharing come to be? Like everything in my life, it was just a little nudge that had no anxiety or excitement attached to it. It was just, hey, do this. And I did. And you know, it, it's, it's funny, right? Because I think with intuition, intuition's a tough thing for a lot of folks to kind of sometimes wrap their head around and what does it truly mean to listen to your intuition? Yeah. And some of my most what I call biggest nudges, which didn't look very big at first. They seemed very insignificant and like, well, very neutral actually were like these nudges that led me to these really brilliant things in my life that unfolded when I started my journey of doing readings publicly, because I've, you know, I've always, I've always felt connected, but I never did it like for money as a service. I just, you know, would do readings for friends and family. And there was one day I had left my career in beauty and, and I was on TikTok and I just heard this little voice. It was like, just give a tarot reading on TikTok and see what happens. And then I did. And then my TikTok account just like blew up. And then, you know, it was the same thing with Instagram and that intro. It was just changed the intro. Change how you're showing up. And I did. And I'm so grateful that I listened to those nudges because it's been super fun to just meet people and connect with people like yourself and others. So it's been a great adventure. Can we stick with that thread about the intuition? Because that's where some of my biggest growth edges are right now. Can you just help somebody maybe notice theirs? Absolutely. For me, my intuition comes through my solar plexus, which is the energy center that is just below the center of your chest where your heart would be and just above your navel. That's actually where the expression go with your gut comes from. A lot of us receive our intuition through that energy center. Our intuition, sometimes there's, what I hear a lot with clients is, how do I know if it's my intuition or my anxiety? And anxiety, it's always going to come from our head and our thought processes. Because anxiety is attached to our ego, which is, ego is not a word I'm afraid of, nor do I shy away from it. I think it's beautiful when we know how to work with it. And with anxiety or, or thoughts that are coming from anxiety, there's always going to be some type of fear or judgment attached. Or something that just, I don't know, there's, it's, I've heard it, I heard it explained really beautiful from a podcast and what this person said was anxiety and intuition is the difference between, Oh shit, the volcano is exploding and. Oh, the volcano is exploding. It's like the, with anxiety, we're going to have some worry or we're going to have some panic or some fear and we might run from the thing that we're wanting or we might freeze. Intuition though, it's going to be either very neutral. Or it's going to be neutral, but it's also going to give you a little bit of an energy boost to do it. Like almost like, I don't know why I'm being pulled towards this, but I'm just going to do it anyway. You messaging me on Instagram. That was a beautiful lesson and following my intuition. Or, you know, me changing my intro on Instagram or me DMing my current publicist who helped me get talent management. Like it's just one of those things where it's like, I don't know why I'm doing this, but I can't stop myself. So I'm just going to do it. And so, you know, there's an excitement to it at times, but for me, a lot of the times it's. It's pretty neutral. And I get that little boost of energy. That's like, you know, just gives me enough courage to do it. That's a beautiful description. Awesome. Well, what's, what's something recently you're so glad you followed your intuition on? I'm sure you're doing it much more naturally than somebody who's not practiced, but give us an example of something that just unfolded. Like, You didn't see that coming. Yeah. You know, I think a lot of my life lately, actually, it's funny. You should say that. Like I, you know, so I, um, I will talk about the instance that I just had with finding, um, you know, finding new PR, um, which sounds kind of funny to say, right. Cause that's like, so not like the world that I come from where I'm like, Oh my God, I'm going to find a publicist. But I, you know, I, I need one. I, I've been put on this amazing path of helping others, and so, you know, I love sharing my message and I love sharing that in a broad way, and it's important for me that I surround myself with people that I just, I have that energetic flow with. And this one particular instance, I had just separated from my, my previous, um, PR person and, um, you know, it's just no longer an energetic match and I was scrolling in bed and I was kind of, I was scrolling Instagram in bed and I was like, I don't know what I want to do. Do I want to, you know, continue this path? Do I maybe just, you know, want to like, pull back a bit and take some time to rest? And one of my favorite artists, his name is Kevin Aviance, and um, Kevin had posted about how they were at the GLAAD Awards, which is an award show for the, the queer community, and they thanked their PR team. And I was like, well, who's your PR team? And so I just tapped and tapped on the profile and I just happened to reach out to their PR person. I was like, Hey, this is totally out of left field. I know this is not standard practice at all, but if you're looking to bring on a psychic medium, I'm looking to share my message in a, in a broad way. If you're interested, let's talk. Right. And then we had a call on month that month, this was a Saturday morning. We had a call on that Monday. And then he was like, you know, how do you feel about doing live events and the tour? And there's all these things that are on my manifestation list of things that I want to do to serve spirit. Yeah. And You know, it's, he was like, let's have a conversation with boss events, which is now my current management company. And, um, he was like, let's just see if it's a fit. And I sat down with him and I was like, these are the people I want to work with. These are the people that like, I want to do this. And, you know, so it's really fun. And so that was one of those things where I just had that intuitive nudge just to reach out. And all of this just has happened so fast. That is exciting, you know, uh, cause you put the paddles in the boat and you're going with the flow. You're allowing yourself. Yeah. And I'm so not like, I, I love serving spirit. I also understand that the world that I'm in. being involved in getting into the entertainment industry. There's a lot of people who want to kind of take this work and turn it into something that it's truly not. Ultimately, at the day, this work is about serving and helping people. Right. And so I have zero interest in turning this work into a sideshow. I also want to serve in bigger ways. And so when I sat down with them, I was like, Oh my gosh, this is like right where I'm supposed to be. These folks totally get it. And they understand what this work is. So I'm really excited. And they work with a lot of people in the queer community. And so it's just nice to kind of have people that understand where you come from, too, because they also come from that same Kind of space. So that is exciting. What excites me is seeing, people coming from a place of love being amplified and not manipulated. And, um, it, there takes degrees of bravery, again, and authenticity to show up and, and not only claim your talents, your gifts, but to put them out there because, you know, there's a lot of people who have been afraid to step out and share their not mainstream, normal quote unquote gifts with fear of being criticized and targeted and not to bring in that negative stuff. But. It just brings me joy to see somebody do it anyway, do it anyway, and be the voice that I know I want to listen to, but I also want my kids growing up in a world with more positive voices being heard above all the noise. Yeah. So Bravo. That's so exciting. Thank you. It's super fun and I'm excited. Are there any projects in the works that you're comfortable mentioning? Like what's coming? We've got a couple of fun things. There's nothing that I can necessarily talk about with specifics, but you know what my hopes and dreams are is to be able to travel more and do more live events. I love serving via zoom, but man, I love people. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I love people. And I, when I do live events, um, I love hanging out after the event. I love hugging people. I love hearing people's stories. Like, for me, it just like, it, it just is so beautiful. Yes. And so that I'm really excited for, um, ever since I was little, you know, I've always wanted to write a book. And so I think, you know, working on books that tell these amazing stories about what happens in readings and the transformation that happens. Yes. Yes. Because the overarching theme of all of these stories is if, if we believe in ourselves and we find our authenticity and we align with our wholeness. amazing things can happen in our life. Miracles can happen. I see miracles happen every single day. Yeah. And so just to be able to share that and share those stories, I'm so honored to do. And so those are some of the things, you know, I'm open to other things, but those are the things I'm most excited about right now. I've got butterflies for you. And I so relate to that in person thing because that as a small business entrepreneur, um, that's one of my favorite things is, is working with people. And I love being in groups of people who share a resonance. We can be doing all different kinds of work, but when there is just that collective, um, Spirit of of love and interest and curiosity shared. I just find that that's like spiritual caffeine for me. So how do you receive your information as a medium? I'm very curious. So we have our five basic senses, but then we have our our Claire's or our extra senses and these build off of our, um, there's these build off for our senses. So there's, there's clairvoyance, which is the seeing, and there's clear audience, which is hearing. And then we have, um, Claire cognizance, which is the knowing, like, you just feel it in your bones. And then we have the, Claire, or the. I forget the other ones. I'm a great teacher, everybody. You are. So, you know, we have our, we have our senses. And then, you know, so, so there is one for taste and smell. Those are the two that I always forget. But, um, you know, when, when, We are experiencing energy. I experience most of my, feeling and knowings from spirit through seeing, hearing, and feeling. Those are the primary senses that I use. Occasionally, like if somebody was a heavy smoker, uh, I'll taste the smoke in my mouth. If there was somebody who had, I just had yesterday, somebody who had, um, a loved one in spirit who wore this like gardenia fragrance. I'll smell the gardenia in my, in my nose. It's almost like it's right there. If someone's a baker, I'll smell the baking. But a lot of what I receive from spirit is a lot of, um, little mini pictures that pop up in my mind or symbols or signs. Hearing, uh, is another, another way that I interpret spirit, but also feeling. So for example, if somebody was in a lot of physical pain prior to their passing, or if it was a sudden passing, something like heart attack or overdose or but an accident whole body will just all of a sudden we'll just get very hot and my heart will race very quick. And so that's always my sign. It's simple. If I have somebody who had a very sudden unexpected passing. It's a full body experience with me and the spirit. I'm not in any pain when this is happening. I'm not in any discomfort. it's, it feels very dull, but it's, it's there. There. So those are some of the ways that I see and interpret. And then my job as the medium, which is super fun. I get to have these signs and symbols, and then I get to do the fun job of sharing it in a way that hopefully makes sense to the person that I'm sitting in front of. So, for example, if I'm connecting with someone and I see wedding bands, if I see two wedding bands, um, It, to me, that is my sign and symbol of somebody either got engaged or got married after the passing of this soul. And that soul was wanting to confirm that they were there at the wedding or they were there at the ceremony or they're sending love for the engagement. If I see a single wedding band, to me, it's somebody is going through a divorce or going through a separation. If I see, um, just various jewelry, I'll know that that person is probably wearing a piece of their loved one's jewelry while I'm talking to them. So, but sometimes those signs and symbols, um, don't always connect in the way that I have it kind of established. Um, so that can always be fun when I'm sharing. I had, so for me, um, September will come through. I'll either, if somebody's birthday or anniversary, or anniversary of passing comes through for, let's say, September, I'll hear September, or I'll see the number nine, since September is the ninth month. And I was with a client one day, and I was like, oh, your, your loved one is wanting to talk about you getting married in September. And the client was like, well, no, I actually got married in May. And I was like, huh? She goes, but, but the song that we played to play tribute to my loved one was the song September after earth went in fire. I love that. Oh yeah. So you have to piece that together. Oh my gosh. Yeah. It's not a perfect science, but it's really fun. And typically we have a good laugh and You know, my ego is not involved in, in this when I'm doing these readings. So like, I can laugh at it. I can be like, Oh yeah, well, you know, Hey, as long as you understand it, that's all I care about. Do you ever have information coming in that you didn't invite, like when you're not with a client or something, yeah. When I first started my journey, um, I didn't really know, um, a lot about spiritual boundaries. Because I didn't have personal boundaries. And my work with spirit has really helped me develop boundaries. in my day to day life. So there's the 12 universal laws. Law of attraction is one of them. Another universal law though is the law of correspondence, which says as above, so below. And I'm my interpretation of that and how I use that in my life is as in the physical, as in the spirit, any work that I'm doing to develop my mediumship also helps me develop here as a soul. Cause I'm still on my journey. Like I don't have it all figured out. I'm learning, I'm taking notes, but you know, I have my missteps like everybody else. Right? Yeah. That helps me kind of redirect and get back on course. But, that happened a lot at first, but it's a lot better now. Occasionally. Occasionally. Um, in the mornings when I'm getting ready for clients., if I'm meditating, I'm opening myself up, I'll get, you know, someone's dad will start coming in or their brother or their mom or sister. And that's like, okay, wait your turn. I know you're excited. Wait your turn. So Travis, for anybody listening to this, whose just really, um, really into this conversation, but they don't have any, any experience personally with having a reading done. Who's your, who's your audience? That's a great question. You know, I read for a lot of, primarily women, um, primarily folks that are a good bulk of them, not all, but a good bulk of Folks who are between the ages of like, 25 and 55, like, you know, in that, that kind of range. Um, Plenty of folks from the queer community as well, which is really beautiful to me. I was somebody who grew up with a, you know, quite a bit of like, religious trauma. And so it's really nice to be able to serve and, you know, Bring spirituality to people who maybe haven't been open in the past or right to explore and dive in in a safe space But you know the common thread though between all of them they're going through either grief or loss or they're wanting to learn how to live their life in a way that feels fulfilling or they're wanting to Just learn how to you know work with their energy. You know, all of those things fall. In my definition of seeking some level of healing or peace, people looking for peace with something. Yeah. Whether it's physical or emotional or historical or, yeah, totally, yeah. Yeah. I'll bet you it really empowers them to have conversations with their physical counterparts and family members, especially if you are holding safe space for the queer community as well. Because, you know, conversations, we've come a little bit along, but we got a lot more. Yeah. Cause we have a lot of old programming and old beliefs and maybe some fear. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Intertwined there for many, you know, well practiced habits passed down. Yeah, fear is just fear is lack of love. You know, it's kind of like where there isn't, um, there isn't darkness. Isn't, um, there isn't like a darkness switch in a room. There's only a light switch. Yeah. So darkness is just a lack of light. Yeah. That's all darkness is. Yeah. And so those, those things that, you know, whether it be laws that are designed to oppress people or there's, you know, people who are holding on that their belief system is the only belief system that matters. Yeah. That's just, it's a lot of ego and it's a lot of fear. Yeah. And ego, I heard ego described as edging God out, which I think at first I was kind of like, I don't know if I agree with that. I heard it and I was like, I don't know. It didn't resonate for me. But then when I really thought about, you know, like, well, what is God? Like, what is God? What is God to me? You know? And to me, God, the universe source, it is just that vibration of unconditional love. Whatever that is for people. Yes. And so, yeah, so ego is edging God out because ego is fear and old programming and hurt. At the end of the day, ego is just some hurt that we have. And so, you know, so for me, those things are just, you know, that's just where love needs to be poured and you know, ego produces all kinds of emotions as, as does. Faith and love, and, somebody influenced me to this discovery and it just resonates. I hope I'm going to share it with you and see, see what you think, when I'm dealing with a whole lot of emotions, I like to unpack them and look at them as children, small children, And each one wants to be seen. Acknowledged and heard, and then I can go back to playing elementary music teacher here. That's my first career. And, and, and those kids, sometimes they were 10 minutes into music class before we could actually start music class because they just needed to say something, be seen, be heard. And I feel like that. That's kind of like, um, the fruits of my ego kind of getting addressed in a more loving, less self critical way is what is, what is it to see someone? It's to love someone. Yeah. Yeah. It's to point love in their direction. Grief, shame, loneliness. Yeah, those are just parts of us that just wanting us to point love at them there, you know, my, my therapist who I, you know, I think is like worth his weight in gold times infinity, um, has been such an instrumental part of my mental health journey and, um, you know, I was talking to him a couple weeks ago about self sabotage and I was like, you know, I just feel like sometimes I sabotage myself. These like old cycles sometimes will pop up, whether it's food binging or, you know, whether it's like doom scrolling or, you know, thought patterns of like, well, maybe I'm not good enough or maybe, you know, those fear things that pop it. And he goes, well, I don't, he's like, he said to me, he goes, Travis, I've never met anybody who genuinely wanted to sabotage themselves. I do know it to be true that people want to protect themselves. Yes. And I think that things like shame, fear, grief, all those things that are kind of connected into our ego, I, you know, I don't think that those are parts of myself that want to harm myself. I think that that's an action sometimes that I take because of those things. Yeah. But I think genuinely those feelings are, um, just wanting to keep me safe. That's beautiful. Because in growth and expansion and moving forward, there is uncertainty. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know another person who just. Heals those and never has them come up in different stages of life, you know, it's part of the journey and like the, the onion analogy, you know, there's just so many layers of us and the newest version of myself has to learn how to respond to that information. I just received. Yeah. So talk to me about, um, you holding space for mental health awareness. Bye. Yeah. Yeah. I, you know, it's funny, I don't think of, Myself as somebody who holds a lot of space for, um, grief and people in deeper vibrational emotions. I've just always done it. It's just, it's very natural for me to do. So I don't think about it. It only recently came into my awareness. I had a friend come to one of my live events and live events are so fun. And there's a lot of grief because we've got loved ones that are coming through. We've got healing that's happening in mediumship, very healing. And my friend who is there, she was like, I only just saw what you present at a live event. And in sessions, we typically go a little bit deeper, right? Cause in a live event, I'm not, I'm not pulling up the deep rooted stuff. That's I've always known you were very intuitive and, and very sensitive. I didn't know that you could hold that much space for grief for other people. And to see that and witness that was really beautiful. And I just kind of thought about it and I, I was like, I guess I do look like I, you know, and, but it's funny cause again, kind of going back to astrology, I was just reading through an aspect of my, one of my placements. And in this aspect, it said, because of this placement, you have the ability to hold lots of space for grief and trauma that a lot of other people, it's not on their path to. So it's like, again, like just that, like that affirming of like, okay, right. Um, when I'm reading or when I'm channeling for people, I am not sitting in the seat of empathy. I'm sitting in the seat of compassion. But for me, the difference is empathy is you're in the mud, you're in a tar pit, let me jump in with you. Yeah. Yeah. Compassion for me is I can witness I can witness the grief, but I can also witness the healing. Yeah. Yeah. And I think as a practitioner, it's really important for me to sit in that space because, um, I'm something that's inspired me along this journey. So I don't align with a particular. Religion, but I am going to use a reference from, um, Christianity and, and Jesus, when he would see people, this is a line from my favorite spiritual teachers, Abraham Hicks, Jesus, when he would see people, he didn't see them dripping in illness. He saw them dripping in their wellness. I knew you were going to say that. I love that piece. And I do too. And I've, you know, for me, that's just, I heard that, I think, maybe for the first time three years ago, like around the time I was introduced to Abraham. And that's just always stuck with me. I heard that piece too. And I received it at a time where I was becoming more self-aware of the fact that I receive the pain that I'm witnessing that's not mine. That's not mine. And, because I really, as a child believed. that in order to really sympathize for them, I had to suffer with them. I really believed that. And then I, Oh, okay. It's no wonder why I kept myself so small in a lot of ways, because it was carrying rocks that, that weren't, weren't, they were meant to be stepped on, not carried in my backpack, so to speak. And so I love that you shared that. That's so true. And it's evident that your work with spirit. Um, makes Travis warrior unicorn bigger than a human body. You know, we're all souls having a human experience right now and, um, we're so much bigger than our package. Yeah. Yeah, and I think that we can take that energy that we feel that doesn't feel so great and we can transmute it into something full. Yep. you know, you know, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transmuted. Right? And I think that we can take our pain and we can take these things that happen to us and it doesn't mean we have to like them doesn't mean we have to, you know, I think there's a fine line. There's a fine line between transmuting energy and spiritual bypassing. It's a razor thin line sometimes, some days, um, and I was just having this conversation with my friend on, um, spiritual bypassing. And for those that are listening, aren't familiar, spiritual bypassing is when you just try to spiritualize your way out of feeling what you need to feel. So it's kind of like that for feeling grief, it's the trying to immediately go to the, everything happens for a reason. And all of those things, which I think are beautiful sentiments that are very well meaning, but sometimes we can. try to bypass feeling what we need to feel and just jump straight to that. but I do believe that we can take things like grief and guilt and shame and we can alchemize them into something really beautiful that then helps benefit us, but also those around us. Is that the kind of information that you channel for loved ones in a session, like, like discerning, you know, when somebody needs to work on something? So mediumship covers a couple of different kind of areas of spirit. I, I refer to spirit as a big umbrella term, but after that, you know, falls our loved ones in spirit. Our guides are angels with loved ones in spirit. I work in a manner. That's, um, considered evidential. Evidential mediumship is essentially where we're pulling through the, the names, the dates, how they passed, who they were to you. And then, and then once we have like a solid link with your communicator, then I'm pulling through those messages. But a lot of times though, the messages from our loved ones in spirit, I find aren't necessarily the, Hey, you need to heal this or Hey, work through this. It's really just the, I love you. I'm here. I'm here. I forgive you. Yeah. You forgive me. Yeah. I'm proud of you. I see the changes that you're making in your life. Like our loved one. And listen, our loved ones know everything that's happening. I had a client yesterday who I was doing her reading and then I forget exactly what it was, but she, you know, I was like, Oh my gosh. And your loved one is talking about, um, this conversation that you have with so and so. And she goes, Oh my God, that was yesterday. And I was like, yeah, your loved ones are watching. I don't know what else to tell you. But I do find that in sessions, when we're connecting with guides and angels, that's where the deeper kind of, Hey, we're hanging on to this, or this is something that's not serving you. Here's how you can shift it and transceive it and change it. But even if we're not working with that team of energies, let's just say we're just. Solely connecting with loved ones in spirit. There's a healing energy that's flowing through me. That's flowing through to the person. So even if we're not addressing the thing that needs to be let go of, it doesn't matter. That healing energy is still flowing through. I love that. That's gotta be so motivating to you because it's evident how much joy you get from helping um, just spread love. That's just amazing. What, what is something that you would just love for people to remember from this conversation? If there is like either something we touched on or something that wants to come through that you haven't been able to speak to yet. Yeah. I think that just love is universal and through love, all things are possible. And that's something that I believe in my bones to, to be true for me and, and what I've seen in my life. Yeah. Um, so that's something that I definitely would love for people to walk away with. Beautiful. I love the handle. Why warrior unicorn? It's obvious to me you are a unicorn, but why warrior unicorn? Nobody has asked me this. Are you serious? I am dead serious. Listen, put it on record. You're the first person that's asked me. Wow. Okay. I'm so excited. It needed to be asked. And it's one of those things where it's like, I'm not going to offer it. But if somebody asks, I will be so excited. Well, I'm honored to be that somebody. So this is just a smidgen of a story, but it's a good one. So, uh, Warrior Unicorns came about around 2015, I think. I was at this really interesting time in my life, as you are, when something like this happens. And, I was, I had gone on a couple of dates with this guy. It didn't end up going anywhere, but he was a lovely gentleman. And, he bought me this tank top that he saw at, I think, a Target. Uh huh. And it had a unicorn on it. And I had never really connected with or like, you know, resonated with unicorns. I was never saying it was like really in my awareness. And he bought me this tank top and I was like, how did you buy me this tank top? He goes, you're kind of like a unicorn. Like you're just, you're yourself. You're authentic. And like, you're magical, like you're really magical. And I didn't see any of that in myself. Aww. And so I was like, okay, thanks for reflecting that back to me. Like, that's, that's great. And then after that, these like unicorns just started popping up in my life. People randomly started gifting them to me. That's funny. I love it. Is great. Yes. And Warrior comes from two places. One, the, the, the place it originated from was the Song by Scandal, the Warrior. Mm-Hmm Uh, which is one of the most favorite songs. on my gym Playlist. And, uh. There's also a book, what solidified The Warrior, which there's also this book called Love Warrior by Glennon Doyle. And in the book, she quotes, uh, Pima Codren, and the quote is, and I hope I don't botch this too much, but the quote is, If you can sit in the hot loneliness today for 1. 6 seconds when yesterday you could only sit in it for one, that is the journey of The Warrior. And that is the journey of The Warrior. And so, you know, that hot loneliness that's just come up through my life and sometimes does and just sitting and being present with it. So that's, that's where warrior unicorn came from. And to me, it's like, it's when I first pictured warrior unicorn, it's like this like big muscle unicorn going off into battle. But now for me, it's like, it's just this softness that I have and this, you know, owning that magic and seeing that light in myself. Because when I can see that in myself, I can reflect it back to other people. Mic drop right there. Travis. This has just been a delicious conversation. Can I ask you one more goody? Anything you want. Do you have a favorite picture? Memory just fills you up every time you revisit reminisce over it. I do. It's on my fridge. And, I wish I would have brought it with me. I would have, I would have brought it to show, but, um, it's, it's a picture of me. I'm very young and, um, I think I had to have been nine, eight or nine in the photo. And in the photo, um, are you familiar with the bend and snap from Legally Blonde? Oh my gosh, yes. Of course. I'm gonna sue Reese Witherspoon. I'm not gonna do it. I'll unplug something. Yeah, I'm gonna sue Reese Witherspoon because she stole it from me. But, no, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Um. In the picture, I'm going like this. I've got, I'm doing the snap portion of the bend and I'm in this like all black sweatsuit. Like I was, I was big on a matching sweatsuit when I was eight and I, I look at that picture and I just see just this magic of this little younger version of me that just so fearless. So brave, and so I just, I keep that on my fridge as just a reminder of who I am, where I come from, and um, that's probably one of my most favorite pictures. I, I feel pulled to say, I think that 8 year old is terribly proud of you. Oh, I think so too. Yeah. Yeah. Bravo. Thank you, Travis. You made my day. I haven't cried on a podcast in so long. So thank you for that. That was beautiful. That was a, that was definitely a happy, a happy energy. Oh friends. I hope that filled your cup as much as it meant filled mine. To meet Travis is to love him because he is love. And on that note, I hope you'll come back next time. And I hope that there is at least one or 20 nuggets in this conversation that makes it easier for you to picture love in your life. Bye bye for now.
